Aspiring Lifestyle Retirement Village is set to open the first stage of the “Aspiring Apartments” on Saturday the 3rd of November.  “We are looking forward to opening the doors the public, as there has been a great deal of interest in the project” said sales manager, Ursula Porter. “This is a new and luxurious standard of retirement living for Wanaka retirees”.

The apartments will be a much-anticipated addition to the range of living options available at Aspiring Village.  Designed with luxury retirement in mind, there are sixteen one, two and three bedroom apartments available. Most of the apartments have been presold, with three existing villa residents choosing to make the shift to an apartment. Benefits of apartments living include easy access to the lifestyle centre, stunning mountain views and luxury specifications.

The apartments have been designed by specialist retirement living architects – Foley Group Architects, and landscaped by local company Georgie P Design. Local Wanaka company, Ecco Landsapes, have undertaken the landscape contract and showed great attention to detail, with residents’ vegetable gardens, walking paths and private patios. Special attention has been paid to the interior design, to ensure a residential feel rather than a commercial one.

Since the very first villas were completed in 2010, the village has grown to include an extensive Lifestyle Centre, where a range of facilities are on offer, including: indoor heated swimming pool, residents’ bar, gym, spa, café/lounge, library, media room. In 2016, the continuum of care available to residents was extended to include the Aspiring Enliven Care Centre. The centre provides rest home, hospital and dementia level care to over 40 residents, with a priority access arrangement for Aspiring Village residents.

A public open day will be held on Saturday the 3rd of November between 11am and 3pm. Staff will be on hand to provide tours of the new apartment wing.
