Assisted Living Apartments
Aspiring Village provides services exclusively to residents of the Pembroke Apartments. The 24 Pembroke Apartments have been purpose-built to offer a higher level of support than is available in the independent living villas and apartments.
The Pembroke Apartments are conveniently located near the Wanaka Lakes Health Centre, in a sheltered location on the western village boundary.
There are 22 one-bedroom apartments and 2 two-bedroom apartments, with floor areas ranging from 50m² to 96m². Each apartment is located on ground level with large doors that open to an outdoor patio, where residents can enjoy the surrounding gardens and mountain views.
The apartments offer spacious kitchenettes, dual access ensuite bathrooms and walk-in-robes. The 2.7m ceiling in the open plan lounge and dining area creates a sense of space.

Service Package
All residents will enjoy Assisted Living Basic Service Package, with additional services added as required.
Basic Service Package
- One main meal served at midday
- Morning and afternoon tea (daily)
- Housekeeping (weekly)
- Removal of rubbish from apartment (weekly)
- Laundering of bed linen and towels (weekly)
- Wellbeing check – a twice-yearly review of general health and medication needs by a registered nurse
- Medication supervision (once daily)
- Provision of communal transport, related organised activities and outings
- Utilities including electricity and Wi-Fi
- Weekly happy hour in the lounge
- 24-hour emergency support provided by on-site staff
Additional Services – these services are available short or long term and are charged individually
- One light meal in the evening (in addition to the main meal)
- Breakfast delivered to the apartment (daily)
- Laundering of personal items weekly (in addition to bed linen and towels)
- Medication supervision (twice daily)
- Morning support
- Bed making service (daily)
- Showering supervision (daily)
- Evening settle service

Each assisted living apartment includes:
- Open plan living area
- A kitchenette
- A generous master bedroom
- Ensuite (two bedroom apartments also have a guest bathroom or toilet)
- Walk in robe
- Shared laundry room
- Ultra-fast broadband
- Heating is provided by a wall mounted heat pump
- 24-hour emergency call service
- Communal lounge and dining provide spaces for residents to dine and socialise
- All residents will also enjoy use of the activities and facilities available at the Lifestyle Centre.
* Please note that garaged car parking is not provided but there are plenty of parking spaces outside the apartments.
Coupled with the first rate décor and facilities throughout the social and accommodation areas, I am enjoying the relaxed servicing and care that is provided for us.
