Aspiring Lifestyle Retirement Village and Presbyterian Support Otago (PSO) are very pleased to announce that stage two of development at Aspiring Enliven Care Centre in Wanaka will get underway in March.
Central Otago construction company Breens has been awarded the building contract. It will see 12 additional rooms, a full production kitchen, and other shared space added to the Aspiring Enliven complex.
Maurice Burrowes, PSO Enliven Director, said, “Stage one was completed mid-2016 and has since been home to 40 residents, with rest home, hospital and dementia care offered by the team.”
“There is been constant demand over the last 18 months and we know the additional 12 rooms will quickly be filled when we open the doors in September 2019. These rooms will be set up to provide hospital or rest-home level care to residents.”
“We are very pleased to have Breens working with us to complete this work. They are a local company who we have worked alongside with previous projects, including Wanaka Retirement Village and ongoing work at Ranui Care Home in Alexandra. We know they will create spaces that our residents will be pleased to call their home.”
Once construction is completed, Aspiring Enliven Care Home will be home to 52 residents.
