Aspiring Village was awash in yellow as retirement residents, staff, and guests gathered for a special fundraiser dinner in support of the Cancer Society’s Daffodil Day. Daffodils decorated every table, and some residents dressed head to toe in golden hues.
A highlight of the night was the raffle. It featured fantastic prizes generously donated by local businesses and residents. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and attendees, the event raised over $1700 for the Cancer Society.
The evening began with a lively performance by the Wānaka Ukulele Group, which everyone enjoyed. The dinner offered more than a delicious meal; it also supported those in our community affected by cancer.
