Our response to COVID-19

The New Zealand Government has declared New Zealand to be at Level 2 of the COVID-19 alert system.

At Aspiring Lifestyle Retirement Village we are considered an Essential Service, and will continue to support our residents with our usual staff team,

Please observe level two protocols within the village:

  • If you are unwell, stay at home and do not visit the village
  • Observe social distancing measures – 2 metres in public and 1 metre in most other places, including the Lifestyle Centre
  • Wear face coverings in situations where physical distancing is not possible
  • Continue to keep a record of your movements, visitors and interactions.

If levels escalate, we will promptly put additional measures in place to reduce the risk to our residents and staff, including additional social distancing, limiting large gatherings, hand washing, sanitisation and recording visitor details for contact tracing purposes.

The village remains open to visitors for sales tours.

Non-essential visits to the village are permitted.

Care givers and family may come to the village to provide support or supplies to residents. Social distancing of 2m and good hygiene practices is recommended at all times.

We are monitoring the advice of the New Zealand Government at regular intervals, and are following all of their guidelines and recommendations.

We will continue to work closely with all of our residents to ensure adequate support networks are in place and to ensure everyone receives the support they need.
